As many people know, I am an avid knitter and dabble in spinning & weaving as well. Here is an update on current projects, finished projects, and finished spinning.
Finished Objects
1.) Aila Grace Shawl by Boston Jen of the Down Cellar Studio Podcast. Knit out of a fingering weight yarn hand dyed by me in a class taught by Sleep Season Meg at Fancy Tiger Crafts.
2.) Lorne Hat by Yarn Harlot, knit out of Desert Vista Dyeworks Viso in the colorway Grunge
Works in progress
1.) Sandhills Lace Shawl by Melissa of Hey_Lady_Hey being knit out of Madeline Tosh Light in Venetian
- Bag is by Tangerine Designs
- This is a lace design so it generally looks like a blob of lumps and bumps until it is blocked
Spinning Completed
1.) Art puni's, estimated ~70 yards of a finger weight two ply
2.) Moonrover 75/25 Merino Nylon 4 oz braid in colorway "Study Time"
- Estimated 178 yards chain ply gradient
3.) Hey_Lady_Hey Merino Fiber 4 oz braid in colorway "Down by the Seaside"
- Estimated 231 yards two ply sport weight
